These two pieces from different travels reminded me of the Humanities theme of revolution and my own portfolio theme of identity. They epitomize two diametric views of government and country, with the mural in Puerto Rico depicting a love and willingness to sacrifice, while the Venetian graffiti shows an inherent mistrust in socialist and communist regimes.
